As a quick roundup, France and the United Kingdom will be joining the following teams who have earned their spots as competitors. Finland and South Korea were announced winners at Incheon, Canada and the USA came out on top in Los Angeles and both Australia and China outperformed the rest in Bangkok. There are some seriously strong teams this year and the qualifying rounds have been full of action and excitement. One thing is for sure, the finals are definitely going to be worth taking the time to watch at this year’s BlizzCon.

The top eight teams have been sorted into two groups with the winners from each location (China, France, South Korea, and the USA) being added to group 1, and the runners-up (Australia, Canada, Finland, and the United Kingdom) have been put together for form group 2. From these groups, the initial match lineups have been drawn and the first rounds will see teams from group 1 go up against teams in group 2.

So who will be stepping up against one another to kick off the quarterfinals? We’re very glad you asked.
Bracket One will see Canada vs France and Finland vs China
Bracket Two will see the United Kingdom vs the USA and Australia vs South Korea
The teams lucky enough to win these initial matches will then face off against the other winning team from their respective brackets in what is sure to be a nail-biting semi-final.
